In the chart directed for the year in which Subject A won $35 million
dollars, we see that the Midheaven reached 00 Pisces 25, which
indicated a new phase in life. Pisces on the Midheaven, and Neptune,
which had also just entered a new sign (00 Sagittarius 19), where it squared the Midheaven, suggests
her life may have taken on a fantastical, mystical or glamorous
quality in which she traveled to exotic locations she had long wanted
to visit. Jupiter, ruler of the natal 9th house of long-distances,
foreign places, cultures, languages and people, was in a tight trine with Uranus, ruler of the 9th
house in the Directed chart. She may also have held strong
religious or spiritual beliefs, suggested by Jupiter in Pisces in the
natal chart, and Pisces on the cusp of the 12th house. She
may also have been highly intuitive.
Pluto was also at 0
degrees Libra (an Aries point), and as we saw in the natal chart,
Neptune and Pluto formed a yod with Venus, which was still in the
11th house, but now ruled the 5th of vacations,
parties, entertainment, and of course, risks and gambles. Also, the
directed Part of Fortune had reached a conjunction with the Prenatal
Solar Eclipse at 27 Pisces 28, while the directed Vertex date with
destiny trined it. The directed Vertex was just inside the cusp of the 8th house of lotteries.
With the directed chart placed around the natal wheel, we find directed Venus, ruler of the natal 2nd house of money, conjunct the natal Ascendant and Sun, ruler of the natal 5th house of risks and gambles. We then see that the directed Sun, ruler of the 5th, was in the natal 2nd house of money, and squared natal Venus in the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.
Mars and Pluto ruled
the natal 8th house of lotteries. Mars was also the chart
ruler because Aries was the rising sign. Directed Mars was separating
from a square to natal Transpluto of payoffs, but the greater
importance was probably that it was in the same degree as the natal
Moon’s Nodes, which is said to be fated. Pluto’s sextile with
Neptune, which formed a yod with the directed Venus, natal Sun and
natal Ascendant at the apex, was like a big flashing arrow that
shouted, “You, here, now.” In addition, directed Neptune,
which occupied the 8th house of lotteries, squared natal
Jupiter in the 11th house of lucky breaks, where the
directed Midheaven conjuncted it.
Uranus and Saturn
co-ruled the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.
Directed Uranus conjuncted natal Pluto, primary ruler of the 8th
house of lotteries. Directed Saturn conjuncted the natal Descendant,
and made an out-of-sign trine with natal Jupiter in the 11th.
Before it became partile with Jupiter, Saturn entered the 7th
house and probably had an important impact on her closest
relationships.
The progressed
Moon’s Nodes were approaching the cusps of the 2nd and
8th houses, which as witnessed in other charts, is a
powerful position. For beginners, the natural motion of the Moon's Nodes is almost always retrograde, but in Solar Arc Directions, everything is always moved forward. The North Node conjuncted natal Mercury, which had
no particular super powers in the natal chart, but Mercury ruled the
directed chart. Directed Mercury squared the natal Moon’s Nodes,
marking a milestone or turning point in life. The South Node trined
the natal Moon, ruler of the natal Nadir.
Directed Chiron, of
triumphant ascendancy, rewards and once-in-a-lifetime events, opposed natal
Transpluto of payoffs. Directed Transpluto squared natal Chiron and
conjuncted natal Mars, the natal chart ruler and co-ruler of the 8th
house of lotteries, which occupied the 5th house of risks
and gambles.
The directed Vertex
was just inside the cusp of the 8th house of lotteries,
where it trined the directed Part of Fortune conjunction to the
Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 27 Pisces 28.
The directed
Midheaven in Pisces, which signaled a new phase in life, conjuncted
natal Jupiter in the 11th house of plot twists and lucky
breaks. It sextiled the natal Ascendant and Sun, and trined Uranus,
ruler of the natal 11th house.
The directed
Ascendant trined natal Neptune and squared natal Venus, which were in
mutual reception. Neptune neither occupied nor ruled a winning house,
but Venus occupied the 11th of plot twists and lucky
breaks, and ruled the 2nd house of money. The directed
Ascendant also trined the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 12 Libra 32,
exactly conjunct the natal Vertex.
And now the transits to the directed chart:
Let’s begin the transits with Mercury, the directed chart ruler.
Transiting Mercury trined the directed Midheaven and conjuncted
directed Saturn, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries,
which occupied the 5th house of risks and gambles.
Transiting Mercury also opposed directed Venus, ruler of the 5th
house, in the 11th house of lucky breaks.
The transiting Full
Moon, ruler of the directed 2nd house of money, had just
entered the 12th house of other realms. It sextiled
directed Mercury, the chart ruler, at the cusp of the 2nd
house.
Transiting Venus
ruled the 5th house of risks and gambles. It conjuncted
directed Pluto of transformative wealth, sextiled the directed Vertex date with
destiny, and opposed the directed Part of Fortune and Prenatal Solar
Eclipse at 27 Pisces 28.
Saturn ruled the 8th
house of lotteries. Transiting Saturn trined directed Neptune, ruler
of the Midheaven, and opposed Pluto. Transiting Jupiter and the
transiting Part of Fortune activated the 8th house from
the cusp.
Mars ruled the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. Transiting Mars conjuncted the directed Nadir, sextiled Saturn, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries in the 5th house of risks and gambles, and squared the directed Vertex date with destiny.
Uranus transited
through the 8th house of lotteries where it squared
directed Venus, ruler of the 5th of risks and gambles,
which occupied the 11th of lucky breaks. It further
sextiled directed Neptune, ruler of the Midheaven. But probably the
most important aspect it made was the trine to Pluto, planet of
wealth, with a difference of only ten minutes.
Transiting Pluto and
the transiting Vertex date with destiny, squared the directed
Midheaven and conjuncted directed Neptune, ruler of the Midheaven.
Neptune, transiting
through the 8th house of lotteries, squared directed
Saturn, ruler of the 8th house, occupying the 5th
house of risks and gambles. Neptune also sextiled the directed Part
of Fortune, which conjuncted the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 27 Pisces
28.
Representing turning
points and milestones in life, the transiting Moon’s Nodes were
just inside the cusps of the 5th house of risks and
gambles, and the 11th house of plot twists and lucky
breaks.
The transiting
Midheaven, which moves so quickly we can use it like a stopwatch,
also conjuncted the Part of Fortune and Prenatal Solar Eclipse. The
transiting East Point, which represents personal matters that take
place in public, or which capture the public’s imagination, squared
them. The transiting Ascendant squared directed Jupiter in the 11th
house of lucky breaks.
Of the remaining
children on the streets, transiting Transpluto of payoffs squared the
directed Vertex date with destiny, but transiting Chiron was still a
whopping 5 degrees from conjuncting Saturn, ruler of the 8th
house of lotteries, occupying the 5th house of risks and
gambles.
