In comparing the winning transits to the natal chart of Subject C, a winner of $21 million dollars, we immediately notice the transiting Moon’s South Node conjunct the natal Ascendant (and of course, the North Node conjunct the Descendant), and transiting Pluto conjunct the natal Sun, transforming life forever. With Pluto, there is no going back. Contrary to popular opinion on the meaning of the South Node, it's more often instrumental in winning charts than the North Node!
The
transiting Midheaven squared the transiting Sun, ruler of the
Midheaven, which was conjunct the Vertex date with destiny in the
8th house of lotteries. It also sextiled the natal
Sun. The transiting Vertex date with destiny trined the natal
Sun in an aspect of reciprocity. The transiting Sun squared - and the
transiting Midheaven conjuncted - the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 8
Virgo, and natal Neptune, ruler of the 5th house of
risks and gambles, at 9 Virgo.
I apologize that the Prenatal Eclipses aren't marked in the charts, but my ancient version of Solar Fire doesn't have that feature. I still love it.
Transiting
Neptune trined its natal position and also sextiled the natal Sun, ruler of the natal Midheaven, in
another aspect of reciprocity. Also jumping out at us was the
transiting Part of Fortune conjunct the natal Midheaven and squaring
its own natal place, as well as the natal Moon at the Ascendant. I'm going to post the chart here again so that
you don't have to keep scrolling up and down.
Scorpio is the natal rising sign, so there were two chart rulers: Mars and Pluto.
- Transiting Mars opposed natal Pluto. It also made an inconjunct to its own natal position.
- Transiting Transpluto of payoffs conjuncted Mars’ natal position in the 10th house of public notice and trined natal Uranus (changes in fortune).
- Transiting Pluto had recently conjuncted the natal Ascendant, natal Part of Fortune, natal Moon, and then the natal Sun. It's applying to a square to the natal Midheaven - or will - as soon as it turns to direct motion again. It's definitely close enough to have had an influence, and Pluto also has a long reach.
- Transiting Pluto made an inconjunct to the natal Vertex date with destiny in the 8th house of lotteries.
Ruler of the 2nd
house of money and resources, and co-ruler of the 5th
house of risks and gambles, Jupiter (bigger, better, more, joy, buoyancy) transited
the 5th house of
risks and gambles where it:
- Conjoined the natal North Node and the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Pisces 49.
- Trined natal Pluto, the primary chart ruler.
- Opposed its own natal place.
- Trined Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of lucky breaks.
Transiting Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces on the
5th cusp, trined
its own natal place in the 11th
house of plot twists. It made an inconjunct to both the natal Midheaven and natal
Vertex date with destiny, putting it at the apex of a yod.
Both the 8th
house of lotteries, and the 11th
house of plot twists, were ruled by Mercury. Transiting Mercury
conjuncted transiting Chiron of triumphant ascendancy and
once-in-a-lifetime events, in the 8th
house and
- Together, they squared the Moon’s Nodes in the 5th and 11th houses. The Nodes represent milestones and turning points.
- Squared Jupiter (bigger, better, more, abundance and joy) ruler of the 2nd house of money in the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.
Transiting Saturn, moving through the 2nd
house of money, neither occupied nor ruled a winning house, but was conjunct the transiting East Point, and together they trined the
natal Midheaven. Anytime two or more planets or points make the same
aspect to a third one, it amplifies the energy.
Transiting Uranus, also moving though the 2nd
house of money, trined its own natal place. Natal Uranus neither
occupied nor ruled a winning house, although it co-ruled an angle.
However, just as with the Sun, Moon and Jupiter, it doesn’t have
to. It’s Uranus! It also trined natal Mars, co-ruler of the chart.
The transiting Ascendant trined
the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Pisces 49.
