Subject C Lottery Lunations and Eclipses

We’ll begin with the April Solar Eclipse to the natal chart of Anonymous Subject C because it occurred before the other lunations. Subject C won the lottery on May 28, 1986. Seven weeks prior to the win, at 19 Aries, the Eclipse triggered Subject C’s 6th house, where it conjuncted natal Uranus, planet of shocks, surprises and sudden changes in fortune.

We weren’t going to include long-term transits in this study, but Eclipse Neptune is so intertwined in the next aspect, that it’s simply easier to include it. Look at
  1. Eclipse Mars, co-ruler of the natal Ascendant
  2. Eclipse Neptune, ruler of the 5th house of risks and gambles
  3. Eclipse Ascendant
  4. Eclipse Part of Fortune
    • Each sextiled the natal Sun, ruler of the Midheaven in the 1st house.
    • Sextiled the natal Moon in the 1st house.
    • Sextiled the natal Part of Fortune in the 1st house.
    • Trined natal Neptune, ruler of the 5th house of risks and gambles, which occupied the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.
    • Trined the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 08 Virgo 10.

Eclipse Venus also trined the Prenatal Solar Eclipse and Neptune.

Eclipse Mercury ruled the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. While transiting the 5th house of risks and gambles, it trined natal Pluto, primary chart ruler, planet of wealth and transformation. It also trined its own natal position.

The Eclipse Midheaven conjuncted the natal Ascendant, and squared natal Transpluto of payoffs.

The Eclipse East Point opposed natal Pluto, chart co-ruler, and natal Transpluto of payoffs. Yes, it does also conjunct natal Saturn, but that’s of little consequence.

Below is the Lunar Eclipse.

The Lunar Eclipse of April 24, 1986 conjunction with transiting Pluto and the transiting Vertex date with destiny, fell into the personal identity 1st house of Subject C, conjunct the natal Scorpio stellium consisting of the Ascendant, Part of Fortune, Moon, Sun (ruler of the Midheaven) and East Point. Remember that the Moon and Pluto are in mutual reception in the natal chart. The natal Mercury is also in Scorpio, but not within range of the conjunction.

The Eclipse Ascendant and Eclipse Part of Fortune (in opposition to each other because this is a full Moon chart), squared the natal Moon’s Nodes, which represent turning points or milestones in life. As the natal South Node conjuncted the natal Jupiter, ruler of the 2nd house of money, in the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, Eclipse Jupiter conjuncted the natal North Node, and opposed its own place.

Eclipse Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, was separating from a trine to the natal Midheaven. Three degrees is quite a bit for a separating aspect, but may have had some bearing in the matter.

The Eclipse Midheaven opposed natal Mars, chart co-ruler; sextiled natal Uranus of shocks and surprises; and squared natal Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.

The Eclipse East Point, which attracts public attention or captures its imagination, conjuncted natal Chiron, of triumphant ascendancy and crowning achievements, and trined natal Venus in the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.

The Eclipse Vertex date with destiny conjuncted the natal Scorpio stellium and squared the natal Midheaven / Nadir axis.

Below is the New Moon chart:

Anonymous Subject C won $21 million dollars on May 28, 1986. The previous New Moon took place twenty days prior to the win, on May 8, 1986 at 18 Taurus 00 in her natal 7th house, where it trined the natal South Node and natal Jupiter, ruler of the 2nd house of money. Both occupied the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. Of course, the New Moon also sextiled the natal North Node in the 5th house of risks and gambles.

Eclipse Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of lucky breaks, conjuncted the Descendant, where it opposed the natal Scorpio stellium.

The Eclipse Ascendant and Part of Fortune opposed natal Uranus, which had been conjuncted by the Solar Eclipse on April 9th. They also squared natal Pluto, the primary chart ruler.

The Eclipse Midheaven:
  • Conjuncted natal Pluto and Transpluto of payoffs.
  • Sextiled natal Venus in the 11th house.
  • Trined natal Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of lucky breaks.

The Eclipse East Point, which represents personal matters that take place in public, or attract public attention or imagination, squared natal Transpluto of payoffs.
