In the harmonic
chart of Subject E, Mercury, ruler of the Ascendant and Midheaven,
and Mars, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries, were in
mutual reception. One configuration stood out: a Grand Trine between
the conjunction of the Sun with Uranus in the 2nd house of
money, Transpluto of payoffs, and the North Node in the 10th
house of public acknowledgment. The most important aspect? Although
Dymock Brose didn’t include the children on the streets (he did,
however, slip Chiron in occasionally), and I’ve cautioned against
counting them among the most important aspects, there may be
exceptions. As any Aquarian will tell you, the point of learning the
rules is to know when you can break them. In this case, there were
closer aspects limited to planets only, but Chiron conjunct the
Ascendant did seem to be the winner here. With the exception of its
conjunction to the Ascendant, and its opposition to the Prenatal
Solar Eclipse at 5 Pisces 43, it was unaspected.
Mercury, the chart
and Midheaven ruler, occupied the 8th house of lotteries
and sextiled Jupiter in the 10th house of public persona.
Mercury conjuncted the East Point, which represents personal matters
that take place in public, attract public attention or capture the
public’s imagination. The East Point sextiled the Moon, ruler of
the 11th house of plot twists and changes of fortune; it
also sextiled Jupiter, and trined the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21
Leo 14, which was conjuncted by Pluto, planet of wealth and
transformation.
Venus, ruler of the
2nd house of money, conjuncted the South Node of reaping
karma, which we’ve so often found is our lottery friend. Together,
they squared the Vertex date with destiny in the 10th
house of public persona. Both the South Node and the Vertex were at
Aries Points, which are turning points.
Saturn ruled and
occupied the 5th house of risks and gambles, from where it
squared Uranus, planet of shocks, surprises and sudden changes in fortune, in
the 2nd house of money. Saturn square Uranus is a frequent
aspect in winning charts (review the section on the progressed solar
return of Subject A).
Mars ruled the 8th
house of lotteries. Mars conjuncted Chiron, of triumphant ascendance
and crowning achievements, and sextiled the Vertex date with destiny
in the 10th house of public awareness.
The Moon ruled the
11th house of plot twists and changes of fortune. It
conjuncted Jupiter (bigger, better, more) in the 10th
house, to illustrate to the world how lucky she was. The Moon and
Jupiter sextiled Pluto, planet of wealth and transformation, as well
as the conjunction of Mercury, the chart ruler, with the East Point,
which occupied the 8th house of lotteries.
The Part of Fortune
trined Neptune in the 5th house of risks and gambles, and
squared Transpluto of payoffs.
The Sun sextiled the
floating Midheaven, which did not fall into the 1st, nor a
winning house, but was instead, angular in the 4th house
of home, family and domestic matters, the home that was foreclosed on
earlier that same day.
I took a measure of
glee while delineating the charts of Subject E because there’s no
love lost for the contemptible bankers who foreclosed on the home of
a single mother and her children during the Christmas holidays. I
would love to know that she did not deposit her winnings at that
particular bank, and that she let that house go and bought a grand
one!
In the Age Harmonic
chart comparison to the natal, for the sake of uniformity, we’ll
begin with the Ascendant rulers, Pluto and Mars. Harmonic Pluto
conjuncted the natal Midheaven with an orb of only eighteen minutes
to forever transform Subject E’s life through wealth. It conjuncted
its own natal place, the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Leo 14, and the
South Node of reaping karma. Yeah, baby. Harmonic Pluto also
conjuncted natal Mercury, ruler of the 8th house of
lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks,
and sextiled the natal Vertex date with destiny in the 8th
house of lotteries. The Moon (here, now), and Jupiter (bigger,
better, more), ruler of the 2nd house of money, also
lit up the Vertex. Harmonic Mars actually wasn’t much help at all.
It had just passed a square to the natal East Point, and applied to a
trine with the natal Part of Fortune conjunction to Chiron, of
triumphant ascendance and rewards, in the 2nd
house of money. It also widely opposed the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at
5 Pisces 43.
Jupiter was much
more exciting than Mars. The harmonic Part of Fortune conjuncted the
angular natal Jupiter at the Descendant with an orb of one minute,
and harmonic Neptune, ruler of the 5th house of risks and
gambles, trined it from the 2nd house of money. Harmonic
Jupiter, hand-in-hand with the harmonic Moon, besides conjuncting the
natal Vertex, squared the natal Moon in the 11th house of
plot twists and changes of fortune. They also sextiled all the natal
winners conjunct the Midheaven: Pluto, the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse,
the South Node, and Mercury, ruler of the 8th and 11th
houses. Naturally, in addition to the sextile to the natal South
Node, they also trined the natal North Node to activate the turning
point or milestone in life.
Harmonic Neptune,
ruler of the 5th house of risks and gambles, in addition
to the trine to natal Jupiter, also opposed natal Uranus in the 8th
house of lotteries. It squared its own natal position just over the
cusp of the 12th house. Because harmonic Neptune was
conjunct harmonic Saturn, Saturn repeated the confrontational aspect
to Uranus often repeated one way or another in many of the winning charts
presented.
Harmonic Mercury,
ruler of the 8th house of lotteries and 11th
house of plot twists and lucky breaks, trined the natal Midheaven,
along with all the winners up there—Pluto, Prenatal Lunar Eclipse,
South Node—and its own natal place. Harmonic Mercury was joined by
the harmonic East Point that attracted public attention and fueled
the imagination, and made all the same aspects.
Harmonic Uranus,
planet of surprises, shocks and sudden changes in fortune, in conjunction with
the harmonic Sun in the 11th house, squared its own natal
position.
Harmonic Venus
sextiled the natal Sun, ruler of the natal Midheaven. It didn’t
help much, but it didn’t hurt, either.
The harmonic North
Node activated the 8th house of lotteries from the cusp.
Harmonic Chiron, of
triumphant ascendance and crowning achievements, which occupied the
10th house of public acknowledgment, trined its own
position in the natal 2nd house of money, by a mere four
minutes.
Harmonic Transpluto
of payoffs trined natal Neptune, ruler of the 5th house of
risks and gambles and squared natal Jupiter.
The floating
Midheaven occupied the 1st house of self-identity, and
brought public attention to Subject E’s 2nd house of
money at the cusp.
It’s time to study the transits to the Daily Age Harmonic chart for Subject E.
Here is an example
of a “rising planet” that isn’t. It appears to
be, and I confess to a bad habit of referring to the transiting
planet closest to the Ascendant as “the rising planet,” but that
would be to read the transits in both a clockwise and
counterclockwise direction simultaneously, which is simply wrong. For
example, transiting Jupiter is positioned closest to the Ascendant in
this chart, but it’s not rising. It’s moving toward the
second house, will descend to the Nadir, and only then will it begin
to climb toward culmination at the Midheaven. And yet time and time
again while reading lottery charts, we find the planet transiting
closest to the Ascendant is a lucky and highly significant planet to
the win. And when there are two close together, as Jupiter and the
Moon are here, the second one is usually also a winning
planet. Hopefully, you don’t share my bad habit, but will notice
these winning planets closest to the Ascendant.
Remember that these
were transiting planets, and that earlier on this same day, the Moon
conjuncted Jupiter, ruler of the harmonic 4th house of
home, family and real estate, as the winner’s house was being
foreclosed upon. Besides masquerading as the rising planet,
transiting Jupiter squared the harmonic North Node in the 10th
house of public awareness, and also squared the floating Midheaven,
which directed attention to the Nadir—her home. By evening, the
transiting Moon, ruler of the 11th house of plot twists
and lucky breaks, squared its own harmonic position in the 10th
house, as well as harmonic Jupiter, ruler of the 4th. Note the many
planets that packed the 4th house.
Transiting Jupiter also trined harmonic Saturn, ruler and occupant of the 5th house of risks and gambles, and Neptune, also in the 5th. It was a good day to take a chance.
Transiting Mercury,
the Ascendant and static Midheaven ruler, along with the transiting
Part of Fortune, conjuncted the floating Midheaven, opposed the
harmonic North Node and sextiled the harmonic conjunction of the Sun
and Uranus in the 2nd house of money. The sextile between
the Part of Fortune and the Sun was partile.
Venus ruled the 2nd
house of money. It conjuncted transiting Pluto, planet of wealth and
transformation. It’s a combination seen often in winning charts.
Together, they squared harmonic Pluto, but they also inconjuncted two
sets of harmonic planets in sextile to each other, which of course,
created a yod with them at the apex. They were inconjunct Mercury,
the chart ruler—along with the East Point—in the 8th
house of lotteries, and the harmonic Moon and Jupiter in the 10th
house of public appearances.
Saturn ruled the 5th
house of risks and gambles. At first glance, it seems transiting
Saturn made no aspects at all, but it did trine the static Midheaven
with an orb of 40 42’. Remember that outer planets have
long reaches.
Mars ruled the 8th house of lotteries. Transiting Mars trined Mercury, the chart ruler, and the East Point, which captured public imagination in the 8th house of lotteries. It opposed the Moon, ruler of the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, opposed Jupiter—an aspect of risk-taking—and trined Pluto, planet of wealth and transformation.
Uranus, planet of
shocks, surprises and sudden changes in fortune didn’t rule an angle or
winning house, so let’s not overlook it. Transiting Uranus and
transiting Neptune—which ruled the Descendant—were conjunct in
the 5th house of risks and gambles, where they conjuncted
harmonic Saturn—ruler of the 5th house—and Neptune
conjuncted its own harmonic position. How many times have we found
Saturn and Uranus in aspect among the winning charts? Transiting
Uranus and Neptune also sextiled the harmonic Sun and Uranus in the
2nd house of money, and trined the harmonic Part of
Fortune.
The Moon’s Nodes,
which grease the wheels of change by bringing about turning points in
situations and in life, or which mark milestones, trined and sextiled
the harmonic Ascendant / Descendant axis from the cusps of the 5th
house of risks and gambles and the 11th house of plot
twists and lucky breaks. Harmonic Chiron, of triumphant ascendancy
and crowning achievements, conjuncted the harmonic Ascendant, so it
received the same aspect from the Nodes.
Transiting Chiron, of triumphant ascendancy and rare opportunities, did surprisingly little. It sextiled the static Midheaven, and trined the harmonic Nadir—good fortune right where it was needed.
The transiting
Vertex date with destiny fell into the 5th house of risks
and gambles, where it squared harmonic Mercury, the Ascendant and
Midheaven ruler, in the 8th house of lotteries. It also
made an out-of-sign trine to the harmonic South Node and harmonic
Venus, ruler of the 2nd house of money.
Finally, here’s
where things got interesting:
Transiting
Transpluto of payoffs, and the transiting East Point, which attracts
public attention and captures the imagination, conjuncted harmonic
Pluto, planet of wealth and transformation.
- They also sextiled the harmonic Moon, ruler of the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, and Jupiter, planet of bigger, better and more.
- They trined harmonic Mercury, ruler of the Ascendant and static Midheaven, and the harmonic East Point in the 8th house of lotteries.
The transiting
Ascendant conjuncted harmonic Mars, ruler of the 8th house
of lotteries, and the harmonic Vertex date with destiny.
