Subject B Secondary Progressions

These aspects are classic!

In the Secondary Progressed chart of Subject B, the progressed Moon conjuncted the Midheaven. Exactly? No. It was two degrees past; so if some of our winning aspects become partile and nothing happens, we shouldn’t lose hope. It’s possible that the birth time is off by a few minutes (five minutes is suspected). We’ll eventually be learning other timing indicators to help us zero in on the win. The Moon also squared the East Point, which captures the imagination of the public.

An equally important aspect was the progressed Sun, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles, in trine with progressed Uranus, ruler of the 11^th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. It also sextiled progressed Mars (both in mutual reception and in sextile to Mercury). Mars is the chart ruler, and co-ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, and occupies the 2^nd house of money.

Venus, ruler of the 2^nd house of money, made an inconjunct to Pluto, co-ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, in the 5^th house of risks and gambles.

Saturn, ruler of the Midheaven, in the 8^th house of lotteries, trined the East Point, representative of events that gain public notice or capture their imagination.

The Moon’s Nodes conjoined the 2^nd / 8^th house cusps. You haven’t forgotten to cast your charts in the Porphyry house system, right?

The progressed Part of Fortune opposed progressed Transpluto of payoffs.

In the natal chart of Subject B, there are four chart rulers. Saturn and Uranus co-rule Aquarius on the Ascendant, and Jupiter and Neptune co-rule Pisces, intercepted in the 1^st house. 

• Progressed Saturn was separating from a conjunction with the natal Midheaven, but was still within orb. It sextiled natal Venus, ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, and squared the natal Vertex date with destiny.

• Progressed Uranus made no aspects that were different from those it made in the natal chart.

• Progressed Jupiter, ruler of the natal Midheaven, made an inconjunct to the natal Ascendant, indicating an adjustment to be made in her personal identity due to good fortune. Retrograde, it sextiled and trined the natal Moon’s Nodes, symbols of milestones or turning points in life. It also trined the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 25 Taurus 55.

The progressed Sun trined natal Uranus, the primary chart ruler.

Mars, ruler of the 2^nd house of money, (in mutual reception with Mercury), sextiled natal Uranus, the primary chart ruler. It also trined the natal Moon, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles, in the 8^th house of lotteries.

The progressed Moon, ruler of the natal 5^th house of risks and gambles, in conjunction with the progressed Midheaven, representing her public persona and path in life, progressed through the natal 11^th house of plot twists and lucky breaks where they:

• Opposed the natal Part of Fortune in the 5^th house of risks and gambles.
• Trined the natal Vertex date with destiny.

Progressed Venus, ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, conjuncted the natal cusp of the 2^nd house of money.

• It made an inconjunct to the angular natal Pluto, planet of wealth.
• And opposed Jupiter, ruler of the Midheaven, at the cusp of the 8^th house of lotteries.

The progressed Part of Fortune opposed natal Transpluto of payoffs.

Progressed Transpluto of payoffs sextiled the natal Moon, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles.

The progressed Vertex date with destiny sextiled the natal Midheaven and Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 10 Sagittarius 09.

The synchronicity of the universe is amazing, isn’t it? Below, we have the winning transits around the secondary progressions of Subject B, and three out of four of the natal chart rulers aspected the progressed Midheaven by transit.

• Uranus, the primary natal chart ruler, which was also the ruler of the progressed 11^th house of plot twists, conjoined the progressed Midheaven. It was in mutual reception with transiting Saturn, its co-chart ruler and ruler of the progressed Midheaven. Transiting  Uranus was conjunct the transiting Vertex date with destiny.

• The third natal chart ruler, Neptune, conjuncted the progressed Midheaven and progressed Moon with an orb of only two minutes.

• Jupiter, the fourth natal chart ruler, transited through the progressed 5^th house of risks and gambles, where it trined the Midheaven and progressed Moon. It was in mutual reception with retrograde Mercury, which was transiting through the 8^th house of lotteries, where it trined the progressed Transpluto of payoffs.

• The second natal chart ruler, Saturn, an Ascendant co-ruler, became the ruler of the progressed Midheaven, and co-ruler of the progressed 11^th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. In mutual reception with transiting Uranus, it moved through the 10^th house where it trined the progressed chart ruler, Mars, in the 2^nd house of money, only four minutes from partile. It also sextiled the progressed Sun, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles.

Transiting Mars, the progressed chart ruler, transited through the 8^th house of lotteries with transiting retrograde Mercury, its progressed mutual reception buddy (Mercury in Aries, Mars in Gemini). Transiting Mercury was also in mutual reception with transiting Jupiter (Mercury in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Virgo)!

• Mars and Mercury conjuncted the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 10 Sagittarius 09.

• Mars and Mercury sextiled the progressed Vertex date with destiny.
• Mars and Mercury trined progressed Transpluto of payoffs.
• Transiting Venus, ruler of the progressed 2^nd house of money, squared the progressed opposition between the Part of Fortune with Transpluto of payoffs.

Scorpio was the sign on the cusp of the progressed 8^th house of lotteries, so it had two rulers: Mars and Pluto. We have already examined Mars (above) because it was also the chart ruler. Transiting Pluto activated the 8^th house by conjuncting the cusp, and also conjuncted the progressed North Node.

The 11^th house of plot twists also had two rulers because Aquarius was on the cusp. We’ve already examined them.

The transiting Moon’s Nodes squared the progressed Vertex date with destiny. Remember that the Moon’s Nodes mark turning points and milestones in life.

Transiting Chiron, of triumphant ascendancy and once-in-a-lifetime events, conjuncted the transiting East Point, representing personal events which gain public notice or capture the public’s imagination, and together they:

• Conjuncted progressed Transpluto of payoffs.
• Sextiled the progressed Vertex date with destiny.
• Opposed the progressed Part of Fortune.

The transiting Part of Fortune, in the 2^nd house of money, conjuncted the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 25 Taurus 55, and trined progressed Jupiter (bigger, better, more).

• It also sextiled progressed Venus, ruler of the progressed 2^nd house of money.
• It squared progressed Pluto, ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, which occupied the 5^th house of risks and gambles.

The transiting Ascendant, along with transiting Transpluto of payoffs, in the 5^th house of risks and gambles:

• Squared the progressed Moon’s Nodes—milestones or turning points--at the cusp of the 2^nd and 8^th money houses in money signs.

• Trined the progressed Ascendant.

• Conjuncted progressed Pluto. Although the conjunction from the transiting Ascendant to Pluto was a bit of a stretch with an orb of 6 ⁰ 33’, the Ascendant’s conjunction with Transpluto allowed it to work.

The transiting Midheaven trined the progressed Midheaven and progressed Moon.
