Subject D Natal Chart

Subject D, winner of a lucky $13 million dollar jackpot on December 22, 1984, has a pleasant chart, and in all probability was quite satisfied with life even before she won the lottery. All but one planet resides above the horizon, so she is most likely an extroverted person. The one planet below the horizon is the patient Moon, exalted in Taurus in the 6^th house of service. The majority of planets and points are in the mutable mode and earth element, giving the chart a Virgo signature. Whether or not Mercury is exalted in Virgo, one of the signs of its rulership, or exalted in Aquarius, is often hotly contested. Nevertheless, Mercury is in the sign of its rulership here, conjunct the Midheaven, and is the final dispositor of the chart.

The 8^th house of lotteries is full of winning symbolism.

• It contains Pluto, planet of enormous odds, wealth and plutocracy;
• Transpluto, associated with payoffs;
• The Part of Fortune, which trines the Ascendant;
• The Vertex date with destiny;
• Mars, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles;
• Saturn, ruler of the 2^nd house of money, was just outside the 8^th house by less than one degree.

The Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 12 Sagittarius 22 falls into Subject D’s 1st house and squares the conjunction of the Sun with Venus. Venus is the ruler of the 11^th house of plot twists and the Sun is, well, the Sun. It doesn’t need to be anything else. It makes a trine to Pluto, planet of wealth, and Saturn, ruler of the 2^nd house of money and resources. It also inconjuncts the Moon, ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries.

The Prenatal Solar Eclipse occurred at 28 Taurus 42 conjunct the North Node.

With Sagittarius rising, Jupiter (bigger, better, more) is the chart ruler. It conjuncts the South Node and sextiles the Midheaven.

Final dispositor of the chart, Mercury, is ruler of the Midheaven and conjuncts it.

Saturn rules the 2^nd house of money. It squares the Moon, ruler of the 8^th house of lotteries, and conjuncts Pluto in the 8th.

The Moon, ruler of the 8^th, sextiles Mars, ruler of the 5^th house of risks and gambles, in the 8^th. Mars sextiles Venus, ruler of the 11^th house of plot twists, and conjuncts the Vertex date with destiny.

The Part of Fortune conjuncts Transpluto of payoffs in the 8^th house of lotteries, and they square Chiron of triumphant ascendancy and crowning achievements in the 11^th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.

Note that neither the 2^nd house of money nor the 5^th house of risks and gambles contain any planets. They have rulers.
