Subject E Solar Arc Directions

Here we have another Christmas gift, this one just a day late. This directed chart belonged to Subject E, winner of $3.3 million dollars.

In the natal chart, Jupiter, ruler of the natal 2nd house of money, squared the Moon’s Nodes, which were conjunct the Midheaven / Nadir axis, evidence of a fortunate stroke of luck that would bring a turning point, or mark a milestone in the life of Subject E. However, in the directed chart, Jupiter had become the chart ruler.

Venus, in mutual reception with Mercury, had come to rule both the Midheaven and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. The Midheaven held a relatively new sign, indicating a recent new path in life.

Mars had become the ruler of the 5th house of risks and gambles, and squared Venus. Mars also trined the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Leo 14, which had moved from a conjunction with the natal Midheaven to the 8th house of lotteries. At just under a five degree orb, Mars still made a wide opposition to Jupiter, now the chart ruler.

The Moon, now ruler of the 8th house of lotteries, occupied the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, and trined the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 05 Pisces 43.

The stellium in the directed 9th house turned up in the natal 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. Directed Uranus conjuncted the natal Midheaven, indicating sudden and exciting changes would affect Subject E’s path in life. Uranus aspected many of the planets in the natal stellium:
  • It conjuncted Pluto, the chart ruler, planet of wealth and transformation.
  • Conjuncted the Moon’s South Node.
  • Conjuncted Mercury, ruler of the natal 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks.
  • Sextiled the natal Vertex date with destiny in the 8th house of lotteries.
  • Squared the East Point, which captured the public’s imagination.

When we move to the Ascendant, we find that Mars and Pluto were the chart rulers. Directed Mars, along with the directed Ascendant that points to “You. Here. Now,” activated the cusp of the natal 2nd house of money, and trined the natal Pluto and South Node at the Midheaven. Remember that the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Leo 14 fell right between natal Pluto and the South Node. Directed Pluto in the 11th house was still within orb of a conjunction to the natal Moon, and sextiled the East Point, which captured public attention.

The directed Moon in the 12th house was only nine minutes short of a partile square with the natal Sun, ruler of the Midheaven. The directed Vertex date with destiny conjuncted the natal Sun.

Directed Saturn, ruler of the directed 2nd house of money, was only two minutes shy of a partile opposition to the angular Jupiter, ruler of the natal 2nd house of money.

As just stated, Jupiter ruled the 2nd house of money. Directed Jupiter conjuncted the natal Vertex date with destiny in the 8th house of lotteries. Jupiter also sextiled the natal Midheaven, and natal Mercury, ruler of the 8th house, and 11th house of lucky breaks. It squared the natal Moon in the 11th house. Once we have gotten deeper into the charts of Subject E, we can return to re-think the rulers and their houses in a different way.

While we’re in the a
rea of the 2nd house of money, the natal Part of Fortune, and Chiron, of triumphant ascendancy and once-in-a-lifetime rewards, were in conjunction in the natal 2nd house of money. The directed East Point shone a light on the conjunction and captured the imagination of the public.

The directed Part of Fortune conjunction with Chiron, found deep in the 3rd house, squared the natal Ascendant / Descendant axis, as well as natal Mars, chart co- ruler, in conjunction with the natal Ascendant. The directed Part of Fortune also opposed natal Venus in Leo, sign of happy parties.

Neptune ruled the 5th house of risks and gambles. Directed Neptune conjuncted the natal East Point, which directed the public’s imagination in the 1st house of identity, while it simultaneously squared natal Mercury, ruler of the natal 8th house of lotteries and 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks, at the Midheaven of public limelight. Neptune square Mercury is a classic symbol of “Is this real?” Directed Neptune also sextiled the natal Moon, an exceptionally perceptive and intuitive aspect, in the 11th house of plot twists.

The directed Moon’s Nodes, which occupied the 5th house of risks and gambles and 11th house of lucky breaks, trined and sextiled the natal East Point, which captured the imagination of the public.

Mercury ruled both the 8th house of lotteries and the 11th house of plot twists and lucky breaks. Directed Mercury was in the 11th house where it sextiled the natal Sun, ruler of the Midheaven, and squared the Part of Fortune in the 2nd house of money. In the 8th house, directed Jupiter, ruler of the natal 2nd house of money, conjuncted the natal Vertex date with destiny. Jupiter also sextiled the natal Midheaven and Mercury, which leads back to the 8th and 11th houses again. The directed Vertex date with destiny conjuncted the natal Sun.

The directed Sun conjuncted directed Transpluto of payoffs, and they sextiled and trined the Ascendant / Descendant axis, as well as the Mars / Jupiter opposition which spanned it.

In the winning transits to the directed chart:

Return planets, even if it isn’t to the natal position, appear to be helpful in lottery astrology, such as transiting Mars conjuncting directed Mars on the Ascendant of this chart. Of course, that means transiting Mars repeated the same aspects made by the directed Mars: a square to directed Venus, ruler of the Midheaven and 11th house of lucky breaks; and a trine to the Prenatal Lunar Eclipse at 21 Leo 14, brought to public attention through a conjunction of the transiting East Point.

The transiting Sun sextiled the Prenatal Solar Eclipse at 05 Pisces 43.

We’ve established a pattern of examining charts—Ascendant, Midheaven, and their rulers; those of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th houses; sweeping the children off the streets—but this one is an exception because of a combination of aspects that were most likely the outstanding factor in this win. Have you found it already?

  • Transiting Jupiter and transiting Uranus were in trine to each other. Transiting Jupiter (chart ruler) conjuncted the directed Transpluto (only five minutes from partile), and transiting Uranus trined that conjunction. But that’s not all.
  • Transiting Uranus joined transiting Neptune, and together trined directed Transpluto, giving it even more of a boost. That was more than enough to win, but there was still more.
  • Transiting Transpluto conjuncted directed Uranus in the 8th house of lotteries. But there was more! Is this beginning to sound like a late-night infomercial?
  • Whatever you do, don’t miss the amazing transit of Mercury in conjunction with the transiting Part of Fortune which squared directed Transpluto to make it even more active!
  • As a free bonus gift, yours to keep, we’ll throw in transiting Venus, ruler of the Midheaven and 11th house of lucky breaks, conjunct transiting Pluto of great wealth, all of which squared Uranus in the 8th house.
  • Just pay separate shipping and handling and we’ll show you how directed Uranus and transiting Transpluto trined the directed Ascendant.
  • If you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll give you the shiny new transiting East Point that captured the public’s attention by conjuncting directed Uranus in the 8th house of lotteries. We guarantee you will never want to return this combination! But we’re still not done!
  • A date with destiny was created by the transiting Vertex just inside the cusp of the 2nd house of money.
  • And! The transiting Moon, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries, squared the Ascendant / Descendant axis and directed Jupiter, the chart ruler!
  • But wait! If you need yet another reason to buy this winning combination right now, check out Saturn, ruler of the 2nd house of money, separating from a square to the directed Moon, ruler of the 8th house of lotteries. Hold this one in your memory or make a note of it because we'll be coming back to it in another chapter. Another hint: You might also want to be able to recall transiting Mars conjunct directed Mars, ruler of the 4th house.
