Brangelina Divorce

I don't know what happened to the original post. I must have deleted it here when I moved it to my new website (which I didn't keep, and therefore I'm moving the posts back).

Brad Pitt is having a Mars Return. Mars is transiting just minutes shy of 8 degrees Capricorn, and his natal Mars is at 10. It rules his 5th house of children, love affairs, risks and gambles. It co-rules his 12th house of things secret and hidden, or maybe sorrowful. The good news for him is that Mars trines, and the transiting North Node conjoins, his natal Uranus, planet of freedom, independence, and sudden changes.  

Transiting Saturn, planet of paternity, is conjunct his Ascendant (you: here and now) and square his natal Pluto, always a hard time in life. It's an immovable object vs. an irresistible force. Saturn at the Ascendant requires us to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and begin again. No offense to Ms. Jolie, but Saturn square Pluto is an aspect of elimination, of trimming the dead wood in order to rebuild. The Moon's Nodes square Saturn at the ascendant; Saturn rules his 2nd house of money and resources, so it will cost him plenty. The Nodes mark a turning point in life.

In Angelina Jolie's chart, transiting Mars squares her natal Mars, and the battle between two very strong Mars--hers ruling in Aries, Brad's exalted in Capricorn--began, a la' Mr. and Mrs. Smith. What brings us together is also what tears us apart. Mars rules her Midheaven, representative of her career, public recognition and path in life. Mars also squares her natal Pluto (pushing and shoving), ruler of the 5th house of children, romance, risks and gambles. Jolie has some big plans with transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Pluto and transiting Pluto square natal Jupiter, but will have to face some hard truths. A Grand Cross is formed by the Moon's Nodes square her natal Sun (marking a milestone in all Sun-related matters, including her 2nd house of money and resources, which it rules) and transiting Saturn's conjunction to her natal Neptune, which is a painful maturing influence. Saturn conjunct Neptune indicates the dream is dead. Saturn rules her 7th house of marriage, and Neptune rules her 9th house of legal matters. Spending the rest of her life in selfless work for the benefit of humanity, particularly with Saturn and Neptune planets in global Sagittarius, is something she might be contemplating now. Ha ha ha. No, really.

Transiting Pluto square Jolie's natal Moon (her chart ruler) reveals the health issues she's been having the past few years and the removal (Pluto) of female (Moon) reproductive organs.
