  2. Well, well, a fellow Aquarian! We do happen to show up in all the right places. I sense a level of squeamishness among Pro-level astrologers in broadcasting their birth charts, but I would be curious to see the factors in your BC that correlate with astrological aptitude and success.

    1. Hi again, Mark. Hate to tell you this, but I am one of those astrologers. They just reveal way too much for me to be comfortable with that. I will tell you that my sun and Uranus are in mutual reception and that another astrologer - one that is very well known - labeled me an "elitist" because of it, which I didn't appreciate. Wench. ;-)
My midheaven also falls on the midpoint between Uranus and Jupiter, so that might help a little, too. Basically, I'm just obsessed with astrology and 30+ years of study would make anyone fairly good at it, I would imagine.

And what about you? Are you an astrologer and do you reveal your chart data?

    2. Hi Lesia, first off, the nerve of this astrologer for slapping the 'elitist' label on you! They would be best served to 'own' their envy instead.

I'm not a professional astrologer, but an intensely interested, mostly self-taught student with Intermediate-level skill and knowledge. And I fully appreciate the hesitance you share with others in putting your BC out there.

My DOB is 1/27/62, Berkeley Calif, 5:51am. My BC correlates with my life experience, strengths, and greatest areas of struggle and difficulty to an astonishing degree. Career-wise, I'm a consulting psychologist, with a background in addiction research, and sole proprietor of a biomedical communications business with client preponderance in the pharma (mostly opioids and pain medicine) and medical device (solely cancer treatment) sectors. I've also written books, and papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

While I seem to have a good handle on interpreting my birth chart, and sporadically, the BCs of others, one element of my BC eludes interpretation. I have 2 partiles, one is Aquarius Sun-Venus in the 1st House, the other Virgo Pluto-Black Moon Lileth in the 8th House, and both are within orb of 150 degrees. Have no idea what, if any, significance this imposes.

Sorry for the lateness in reply. I tried to link activity on your blog with my email, without success. The last several years for me has been very rough on several fronts, and after perusing a few of your blog posts, I wonder if the same astrological factors might be hitting both of us.

Thank you again for making available your unique insights and perspectives on all things astrological!

      Best wishes,
      Mark

    3. Jesus. I have typed a reply that has taken over half an hour, and poof! It just disappeared. Grrrrrrrrr. That's it for me for today, but I will try to get back with you soon. *headdesk*

  3. Blogger isn't the easiest blog to use when there's a lot to say. What I had to say wouldn't fit in the comment section, so I pasted it into the body of the post above, at the end.

    1. Dear Lesia, I am tooooo blown away for words! I can only imagine... no, actually I can't imagine the time you put into this. You have such a great talent for seeing and explaining natal elements in a way that completely departs from a more rote, 'cookbook' approach. I know a previous effort to relay some of your impressions was lost, and I seriously hope it was but a small fraction of this most impressive interpretation.

I'm in the middle of a time crunch with a work effort. But I wanted to at least send you a brief reply that I received and read your interpretation, and am greatly appreciative!

I'm also wondering if we can go non-public for our subsequent communications. I am hopeful that in the next week, I'll be able to compose a response with the time and attention it deserves.

Funny thing about Aquarian pride, I thought we were the coolest sign of the Zodiac (think FDR, Bob Marley, Henry Rollins, James Dean, many others). And then Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Paul Ryan (Mitt's 2012 running mate and the "brains" of the Repub party), etc surface. Can you say buzzkill? Reptilian sub-humanoids, not merely passively callous but actively and purposefully intent on destroying the few remaining fibers of humanity we have left in this country. Okay, time to exit the soapbox. Please let me know what email system works best for you.

      Best wishes!

      Mark

  4. My pleasure. Hope it was helpful. I receive mail at astrologymemphis @ gmail.com (remove the spaces), and I'll look forward to hearing from you, but please understand ahead of time that I don't have as much time to spend in conversation as I'd like. This blog is officially closed for that reason. I made an exception for you.
